Order, Delivery and Payment Terms & Conditions
Orders and delivery times
We deliver orders to the postcode areas of Kauniainen, Espoo, Helsinki and Vantaa.
Orders placed before 13:00 on weekdays (Mon-Fri) can be delivered to your home address on the same day. On Saturdays, same-day delivery can be ordered until 11:00.
Deliveries to home addresses are generally handled on weekdays (Mon-Fri) from 10:00 to 20:00, on Saturdays from 10:00 to 19:00 and on Sundays from 10:00 to 19:00. If you have a specific wish for the time of delivery, you can write your request in the free text field of the order form. We will try to fulfill your request but cannot guarantee delivery at the requested time.
Orders delivered to business addresses will be delivered on weekdays during office hours (08:00-16:00). All orders to business addresses must be placed at least one day before delivery.
Flower arrangements ordered for funerals are delivered according to the time of the funeral service. Funeral flower arrangement orders must be placed no later than two business days before the date of the funeral service so that the delivery arrives on time.
We do not deliver flower orders on Sundays or public holidays.
Payments / Terms of payment
Our web shop uses a third party (Paytrail Oyj:n) payment provider. You can read the payment terms here (in Finnish): https://www.paytrail.com/kuluttaja/maksupalveluehdot.
Service charges
Order delivery fees are as follows: Kauniainen € 8.90, Espoo € 11.90, Helsinki € 15.90, Vantaa € 15.90.
Flowers are delivered either by our own staff or by a courier service.
Delivery information
The person placing the order is responsible for the accuracy of the delivery information (for example name, address, postal code, location, telephone number, possible access codes).
Once you have placed your order in the web shop and the payment has been successfully completed, you will receive an order confirmation email where you can check your order details.
If you choose the option “The order can be left at the recipient’s door if the recipient is not at home.” on the order form, the courier can leave the delivery at the recipient’s door, and you release us from the responsibility for the flowers delivered. However, due to weather conditions, for example, we cannot guarantee that a delivery can be left at the recipient’s door. In this case, the order will be returned to our flower shop as described below.
If the recipient of the flower order is not reached and the person placing the order has not signed off on leaving the flowers at the recipient’s door, the flowers will be returned to the flower shop and the delivery fee will then have been used. The recipient may choose to pick up the flowers from the flower shop, or alternatively, the person placing the order may pay a new delivery fee, in which case the flower shop will try to deliver the flowers to the recipient again.
If you have selected the option “The recipient may be contacted before delivery. // NO” on the order form, the flower delivery may be delayed or even impossible. We will contact you if there are any problems with the delivery.
If you have selected the option “The time of the delivery must be agreed upon with the recipient.” on the order form, the products are prepared and delivered only when the recipient has been reached by telephone and delivery has been agreed with the recipient. The desired delivery date for the order may therefore be postponed if the recipient is not reached to arrange the delivery.
Gift cards
Gift cards can be sent to addresses located in the above-specified delivery areas (Kauniainen, Espoo, Helsinki, Vantaa). Gift cards will be delivered by post only if there are no other products in the order. If you buy other products together with a gift card, the delivery options are pick-up from the shop or delivery to one delivery address given on the order form.
Delivery costs for mailed gift cards are € 5,90 per delivery address. Gift cards will be mailed to the recipient no earlier than the working day following the placement of the order.
Gift cards are valid for one year from the date of the gift card.
Tie-ins
In addition to flowers, you can buy tie-ins such as a card, a vase or sweets. The tie-in selection varies from season to season, and the store that delivers the order selects the product that best suits the intended use from the selection available at any given time.
Quality/Reclamations
The quality of our products and services is very important to us. If for any reason the quality of the delivered flowers does not meet the expectations of the customer or the recipient, we will be happy to deliver new flowers.
We are also responsible for any defects that may be found in the other products we sell. If the product we delivered is defective, please contact our customer service so we can arrange the delivery of a replacement product.
Please send any feedback on the quality of the flowers or products delivered to our flower shop no later than one working day following the delivery so that we have the opportunity to clarify the situation and correct any errors promptly.
Remarks related to the delivery services or other products and/or services purchased must be addressed to Ihana Kukkanen Oy within one month of the selected delivery date.
Cancellations and returns
Goods
In accordance with the guidelines of the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority, the consumer has the right to cancel an order made in distance selling. The 14-day cancellation period starts from the receipt of the ordered goods or the last batch of goods.
If you wish to cancel your order, please contact our customer service. In order to exercise the right of cancellation, we must be notified of the decision to cancel the order in an unambiguous manner, for example by e-mail. Please note that you are responsible for the cost of returning the products and that the return must be made within 14 days of canceling the order.
Goods that are delivered sealed, such as confectionery packaging, cannot be returned after opening the package for hygiene reasons.
If you cancel the order, we will refund the payments, including delivery costs, without delay and no later than 14 days after receiving the notice of cancellation. We will process the refund using the payment method you used in the original transaction.
Flowers
Flowers are so-called fresh produce that do not have return protection under the Consumer Protection Act unless there is a real and proven defect in the product.
If flower orders are cancelled, the actual cost of the cancellation will be charged and deducted from the amount paid for the order. We will process the refund using the payment method you used in the original transaction.
Dispute resolution
If a dispute concerning the order cannot be resolved through negotiation between the parties, the consumer can submit the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board (https://www.kuluttajariita.fi/en/index.html) for resolution.
Before taking the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board, the consumer should contact the Consumer Advisory Service (https://www.kkv.fi/en/consumer-advice/).
Consumers can also take their e-commerce disputes to a dispute resolution body through the EU-level ODR platform (http://ec.europa.eu/odr). However, it is recommended that a Finnish consumer who has a dispute with a Finnish online store should first contact the Finnish Consumer Advisory Service.
Data protection matters
When you place an order, you provide us with personal information (names, addresses, phone numbers, email address, and so on) that will be used to deliver and invoice the products and services ordered. Please read more about the processing of this information in our privacy statement.
